Shannon Ward

Managing Director

Shannon Ward joined Forward PWS in the Fall of 2019.  Shannon specializes in income, gift, and estate tax planning, as well as income tax compliance and audit defense for high-net-worth individuals and their business interests, trusts, and private foundations. Her experience includes designing and implementing tax-efficient estate plans to meet the business succession and wealth transfer goals of her clients. Shannon also has significant experience consulting on tax issues related to divorce.

Shannon holds a Master of Business Taxation degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Forward PWS, she was a partner at Gursey | Schneider LLP and  held positions as a wealth planner for an international investment management firm and as a tax manager at a national tax services firm. Shannon has lectured at the Hawaii Tax Institute and the California Society of CPAs Family Law Conference.
